Open Your Hearts For Heroes On Armed Forces Day!

We're celebrating Armed Forces Day in the United States on May 18. We think it's a big deal because the sacrifices US service members and their families make for our country can't be overstated. They rise to the occasion each and every day. It's a great day to give back to those that have given so much for our freedom and our country. Make sure wherever you are this weekend that that you greet service members like VIPs. They are and they should know it! We've got some fun and sexy ways that you can celebrate your favorite members of the armed forces. Some of our ideas you can do more than once a year!

Honor the spirit of our all-volunteer US armed services by joining in to lend a hand in your neighborhood. You can volunteer in your community literacy group and teach people to read. Help clean up a local park. Donate blood at the American Red Cross. Or donate to your local food bank or homeless shelter. Get involved will make you feel good. When you feel good, it pays off in many ways including making your love life better.

Why not make plans to visit a historic fort in your community and then contribute to the preservation of that monument. It's the perfect plan for a first date. It's also a great way to build a relationship as you return every year to celebrate the anniversary of your first date. Your first  passionate kiss…or maybe even more!

Romance is in the air! May weather is perfect for attending a military parade or vintage air show. The music is inspiring and you'll be amazed by the heart-stopping stunts the pilots perform. It's fun for the whole family, but even better if it's just you and someone you want to know better. Take a picnic lunch and after the show you can share a bottle of wine and some conversation.

Why not host a party for a soldier on leave? If you want to celebrate the US armed forces in an even more personal way, you could contact your local military branch to see if you can honor a local soldier with a party. You can offer to bring party supplies to the base or invite some soldiers to your home for a home cooked meal and celebration.

Start a new tradition by sending a care package to overseas military personnel. Personal items like massage oils, condoms and lubricants can be included. Consider other ways that you might be able to let those serving our country know that you appreciate their efforts, like making and sending thank you cards.
