It's The End Of The World. Let's Have A Party!

As the Mayan “long-count” calendar moves toward the end of a 5,125-year cycle, some people believe that the Dec. 21 event will coincide with a global catastrophe. So what will you do to celebrate the end of the world as we know it? Do you need to edit and prioritize your list of things to do before you die?

It's time to make your short-list.  And after you've got that all planned out, why not plan a party? If the end of the world is coming, why not celebrate? We've got a few suggestions for hosting an end of the world party:

1. An "End Of The World" Menu
Getting in and out of the parking lot of the grocery store to buy your Thanksgiving turkey and all the fixings was a death-defying act.  Imagine what it's going to be like to scare up a party platter after the nuclear winter. If you're throwing an end of the world party, just for fun you'll want to make sure you include a few things on your menu like canned ham, sour kraut and Tang that are assured to outlast the end of the world.

2. Make An Appropriate Playlist
The whole tone of doomsday and destruction at your party will hinge on your musical selections. You'll want to make sure that the end of the world has an upbeat tone with a beat that your partygoers can dance to, and yet still have a little reverence and solemnity about the event.

3. Location, Location, Location!
When the end of the world happens, where do you want to be? Maybe now is the time to throw caution to the wind and turn the small boxy bungalow that you've been living in to an open concept floor plan. Knock down a wall or two? Why not? What better time than at the end of the world? If you're not feeling that adventurous, a room with a view seems like just the right spot.

4. It's Time For Activities!
After the apocalypse, preservation and protection will be the name of the game. Allow your guests to practice their survival skills on the dart board. Or if that's too "on the nose" maybe they could play Monopoly or Life -- just to see what the risks are.

5. Have Fun!
If these are to be your last few hours on earth, you want to make them count. Go all out on your 2012 end of the world party. If you are a spontaneous socialite, have fun games like the world domination favorite "Risk" or the ever-popular "Game of LIFE." If you're more of a movie person, consider such classics as Armageddon and The Day After Tomorrow.

Ten Things To Do With Your Extra Hour

It's time to fall back from Daylight Savings. That means this Sunday at 2am, it will stay 2am for an extra hour.  This little treat may be one of the highlights of the long cold dark winter to follow. The best part of Daylight Savings is the illusion of the extra hour of time that magically appears.

You can do whatever you want with the "extra" hour of time you've been gifted. You can treat it as any other ordinary day and just set your clocks back and go about your business. Or you can recognize that it's a special day and really celebrate it.

Here's ten things you can do with your extra hour this Sunday:

1. Get up and get going!
Why sleep in when you can get up early and get out and celebrate this special day! Do all of those things that you've been putting off for so long. It's a great way to kick off the holiday season -- when there's always too much to do and too little time to do it in.

2. Find a new favorite TV show
There never was a better time for a Netflix marathon than during the extra hour that you get from falling back from Daylight Savings Time. Just think of how cool all of your friends will think you are when they find out that you've been watching Homeland and Walking Dead from the very beginning.

3. Pamper yourself
There's no reason to go to bed on time, but if you don't want to go out on the town to use up your extra hour, then pamper yourself at home with massages. You can take your time and hit all the good parts -- you've got nothing but time.

4. Get lost in a good book
There's no reason to only read one chapter if you find yourself in the middle of a page-turned. Go ahead and read until you just can't keep your eyes open any more.

5. Deepen your intimacy
Take the time to talk with your partner. Share details that you may have put off because you didn't have the time before -- you'll be surprised at where a good conversation can lead.

6. Go to a midnight movie or close down a club
It's not a school night, so there's no bedtime. You can get out and party all night long if you want to. Just make sure to be safe and have a designated driver.

7. Buy new batteries
It's time to check all of your battery-operated appliances -- including the smoke detector and most importantly, your vibrator. You don't want to have to go out looking for C-cell batteries on a dark and horny night.

8. Sleep or recharge
Let's face it, sometimes the best way to celebrate an extra hour is with a good nap.

9. Research your local election ballot
This could be the first year that you don't cast some votes for people you've chosen just because you like their last name. Go ahead, do some online research and get involved. It's a great way to be an informed citizen.

10. Have sex.
Do it twice. You do have an extra hour, you know.

Halloween Recipe For Fake Blood

Turn Halloween into a fun fright fest with realistic fake blood.  Nothing adds to the thrills and chills of Halloween like this recipe for realistic fake blood! Did you know Hollywood special effects artists often use lubricants to make a gory and realistic looking blood?  Now you can make fake blood at home just like the Hollywood pros with Wet® Personal Lubricants.

Here's the recipe:

1. Wet® Gellee Personal Lubricant (water-based)
2. Wet® Original Personal Lubricant (water-based)
3. Red food coloring
4. Blue or green food coloring
5. Chocolate syrup

Instructions:

Start with Wet® Gellee.  Pour about 3/4 of the total amount of blood needed in a bowl.  Add enough Wet® Original until the consistency is just slightly thicker than water. Then add a drop or two of red food coloring.  Add blue or green to shift the color to something more bloodlike.  Add chocolate syrup until the color darkens and the mixture becomes more opaque.

Tips & Tricks:

·         Wear gloves when applying.
·         Use a toothpick or the back of pen to create "cuts".
·         Flinging it on your body or a "crime scene" area creates very realistic splatters.
·         Do not use near eyes or ears.
·         Use this recipe with caution. It will stain just about everything it touches.

BONUS:  You'll still have plenty of Wet Gellee and Wet Original leftover to keep around for great sex!

Fun Fall Date Ideas

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The days are warm and sunny and the nights are cool and crisp. It's a great time to start something new, like a new project, a new book, or a new relationship.
We've got some great ideas for you to get out and get dating with someone special. There's no reason why go out with someone new, we've got ideas for cheap dates too.  After you both have lots of fun, maybe then it'll be time to get frisky!

1. Football game
High school, college or pro -- it doesn't matter. It's all about snuggling under a blanket together in the stands, and making out under them after the game.

2. Pumpkin carving
You can tell a lot about a person by the personality of their pumpkin. And the roasted seeds make a tasty treat that goes well with a glass of white wine.

3. Haunted Attraction
It's that time of year when people actually pay good money to be scared to death. Why not? Get going to the closet place you can find that's celebrating the zombie apocalypse.

4. State Fair
Nothing is as much fun as a funnel cake and 4-H. Throw in a little boot-scootin' boogie and you've got a night that's on the way to hot romance.

5. Hayride
It's the perfect way to slow things down a little bit and really get to know another person. Especially fun if you both leave your smartphones in the car and just take some time to get to know each other.

6. Color tour
Get in the car and head north -- or east or west. You can easily find out where the most scenic drives for fall color are located near you. Make a Google map and head out to really enjoy the season.

7. Apple cider mill
It's the real flavor of the season. You can count on some sweet kisses in between glasses of cider and bites of hot donuts.

8. Weenie roast
It's the perfect time of year for a bonfire. You'll have to cuddle close after dark and don't forget the s'mores!

9. Ghost hunt
A little Internet research will give you the location of "haunted" places in your area. Take a flashlight and go exploring to see if you can find paranormal activity followed by a little nookie.

10. Leaf pile jumping
You can have fun in your own backyard and enjoy feeling like a kid again.

11. Nature hike
There's no better way to really enjoy the colors that celebrate the change of the seasons.

12. Corn maze
You may have to look around to find a pumpkin farm or ranch that's hosting a corn maze. It's fun to get lost -- just the two of you together.

13. Dinner and a movie marathon
Crisp nights call for a fire in the fireplace, a glass of wine and some shared favorites in the DVD player.

14. Wine tasting and picnic
Pack a lunch and head out to the local wineries. Many wineries have free tasting flights, and if you take your lunch you can find a gorgeous corner of the winery to enjoy your lunch.

15. Harvest festival
What a great way to celebrate the season. You'll be able to walk, shop and eat together.

16. Farmers Market
After you gather up a bounty of fresh produce, you can have even more fun planning a meal together.

17. Oktoberfest
Raise your glass and stomp your feet. Fall is the perfect time to get out and celebrate. Maybe this year you'll learn how to polka.

18. The-AH-tre Season
September is traditionally the start of new plays in theatres.  Find out about the regional theatres near you -- or make plans to go see something special in a big city nearby.

19. Nest Shopping
You'll be spending more time indoors as the weather gets cooler in the coming months, now is the perfect time to go shopping for new pillows, towels and sheets.

20. After midnight moonlight sex
Before there's snow on the ground, and while the air is crisp -- you can still get down and get funky under a moonlight sky.

Five Ways To Have Sex During A Heat Wave

Does a heat wave make you less in the mood for sex? It's just too hot! Any activity (no matter how pleasurable) seems like too much of an effort.

Some people dislike sweating or feeling overheated. For them, feeling warm and then touching bodies makes them feel like they are melting and miserable.  If you and your partner's desire seems to have gone down as the temperature goes up, you may want to consider some ways to stay cool when it's hot.

We've got a few ideas for you:

1. Bathe together
Fill your bathtub with cooler than normal water. Add bath oils, baking soda, or Epsom salts to the water to soothe your skin and make it tingle. You and your partner will enjoy a relaxing dip in the bathtub. Turn out the lights and add scented candles and you'll feel like you're at a four-star resort.

2. Make love in front of a fan
If you don't have a ceiling fan over your bed (and you should, you really should), then consider setting up a sex camp in front of a floor fan. Spread pillows and blankets out on the floor in a comfortable area near the fans. Staying close to the ground will help you stay cool since heat rises. Fill the room's electrical outlets with plug-in air fresheners. Choose scents that will enhance your intimacy.

3. Enjoy a naked meal of cool foods
There's a reason why everyone loves sushi. It's tasty and it's a great snack to nibble off of your partner's body. That's why Popsicles are so much fun. You'll enjoy the flavor and feel a cool down. If you're really creative, you can come up with an entire meal of cool snacks that you can enjoy naked -- and eaten off of a naked body!

4.  Take a cool shower
After standing under water that is cooler than you normally would take it, make love in front of the fan or air conditioner. The cool air will be refreshing on your skin, and making love is a great way to spend an afternoon when it's too hot to go outside.

5. Plan an air-conditioned TV marathon
It's so hot that the idea of getting dressed and going down shopping at the air conditioned mall doesn't even sound appealing. And your feet are so swollen that you're not even interested in online shoe shopping. Hot weather is a great time to catch up on the television shows that you know all the cool people are watching -- but you can't seem to find the time to watch. Crank up the A/C and settle down in front of the television. After a couple of shows, you may be so cool and relaxed that you'll feel like snuggling…and you know where that can lead. Have fun!

Rules Of Engagement: Dating Games 2012

There are a lot of myths that we all live by when it comes to dating. But one thing is for sure, no one enjoys it as much as they say they do. And we've developed a number of different "rules" about dating to make it just a little be more civilized.

For example, no one thinks they should accept a same day date invitation. It makes it seem as if you aren't as popular as your Facebook page leads you to believe. But do people really stick to that rule, or do they break it if they think that the personal making the invitation might be a bit of a catch.

And there isn't anyone who hasn't been surprised to realize that the photos that their date posted on the dating website were at least 10 years old…and photoshopped by a genius. We've all gone out on that date. The one that we wish that we could have back. That's why according to a new survey, most of us have "online stalked" a prospective date before going on with them. Just to be certain that what's being advertised is what we're really getting.

So, just what are the rules of engagement for the dating games in 2012? Check out this new survey from eHarmony that was recently featured on the Huffington Post.com.
